Overall Satisfaction with ApptioOne

I implement ApptioOne and various other Apptio products for customers. I collect use cases, business requirements, and functional design specifications and implement the solution according to the collected information.

Apptio's datalink product has made data automation and ingestion very simple. The tools in Apptio also cut out several steps in what would historically be manual or time-consuming, like crowdsourcing budget data in spreadsheets or updating forecasts recurringly. The report outputs also provide new and different views into the data that Apptio models, to help facilitate new insights or findings for IT leaders looking to make decisions to best support their business.

Apptio support meets the needs of their customers. Some areas may not be sufficiently supported, which can be difficult to navigate but Apptio does provide several points of contact to try to drive positive outcomes for their customers. It would be helpful to have more coordination between all of the points of contact, to help drive better outcomes. Overall, the support group provides a valuable service and does its job well.

Apptio would be perfect for IT professionals looking to simplify a complicated IT operation, looking for quick wins in areas like data automation, routine cost modeling and value-driven reports. IT leaders who have good instincts in their operation but would like to be data-driven in their decision-making and who want to more discretely identify what gaps or opportunities there are in their operation would benefit hugely from developing and deploying Apptio.
