Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud CRM

We use it to keep with information on our donors; how much they have given, where they live, their communication preferences, interactions with our fundraisers, and other data points that help us determine who to ask for a gift and how much to ask. We have almost 9M records of donors with all of this information and the database is crucial to my every day work.

  • Flexibility around customizing how we store data
  • Making customizations easier
  • There are some free text fields that are so small it makes reading things like a contact report very difficult.
  • More accurate reporting on our prospect pipeline
  • More accurate reporting on what asks are outstanding and amount of asks

The decision of what database to use varies greatly depending on what type of organization, what kind of technical support the org will have, how many records, how many users, what type and how much information you want to store, the reporting capabilities, etc.
