Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Bonterra Network for Good for donor communication. We send emails, keep updated contact information, and occasionally use the text feature. We use the software to run and manage fundraising campaigns. Our everyday giving and specialty campaigns for specific events are all handled with Network for Good. Along with that, we use Network for Good to run reports and gain insight about the success of our organization.

We have been able to save an immeasurable amount of time as a non-profit organization. With less than 10 employees, we each have to wear many hats, and this software allows us to easily access everything we need in one place.

Fundraising Impact

Bonterra Network for Good has made it easier for our organization to raise and track donations. It automatically tracks donations made to any campaign we've created within the system. Donors can use a variety of payment methods. We have the ability to manually add payments with various payment methods, including in-kind donations. A tax receipt is automatically sent, and it is very easy for us to send acknowledgements in a variety of ways.

Usability

As a new user, it can take a little while to learn where everything is and how to use it to its fullest capability. However, the trainings offered by Bonterra are frequent, very informative, and easy to follow. The trainings can be accessed live or can be found within the Help portion of the software. There are also help articles. The access to this information shortens the learning curve and makes the software very easy to use.

As a small organization (less than 10 people), it is imperative to have a system that works. Network for Good is a great example of that system. It is a one-stop shop for all of the things required to run a non-profit organization. There are some features that would benefit us as a small organization, such as being able to customize who has access to what versus only having a handful of roles to chose from and being able to set up automations. However, the success that we've had with Network for Good outweighs the things that it lacks and hopefully these are features that will be considered in the near future.
