Overall Satisfaction with Brainshark

It is being used across the organization to communicate to our co-workers. Most recently, we have used the product to communicate our benefits changes for open enrollment. This process was previously handled by HR Reps throughout our ministry holding on-site meetings. Now we are sure the exact same message is being given to every co-worker and they are able to access the information at a time that works best for them.
  • Easy to use - upload PowerPoint and then add voice over
  • Allows you to link to outside websites
  • Professional looking finished product...can be set up to run almost like a movie for the end user.
  • Would like to have the ability to do minor PowerPoint edits from inside the program.
  • Would like to have a section header functionality...currently there are chapter titles, but it would be nice to be able to delineate one more level down.
  • Improved functionality for moving slides, maybe an edit on the slide number that would allow you to quickly move it longer distances rather than drag and drop.
  • More than 10,000 co-workers accessed our benefits presentation this year. That's up from around 6,000 last year. Huge time savings for our HR personnel.
  • The presentations are fairly quick to make especially when compared to other training development tools. It can cut the time by 50% or more when developing information pieces.
We didn't really compare a lot of products.
If you need a lot of interaction with the material, this isn't the best solution.

For communicating information, voice over PowerPoint even with assessment questions, this is a great solution. We also use Brandwatch for short commercial like communications and for providing timely information in an unexpected format from our leaders.

Using Brainshark

I would say the biggest reason is ease of use, but another is definitely continuity. We like what we have be able to accomplish with Brandwatch and are constantly looking for new business cases to use it for going forward.
