Cisco Catalyst IE3200 Rugged Series Switches Review

So this product is used for IOT. It's used to connect sensors outdoors. It's also used to power outdoor wifi in parks. It's used for a lot of different things. We build boxes, put it up on light poles, parrot, and they just run. I think I would say we own about 30 of them and we've never had one fail. I've just jinx myself. But what can you do?

We do not use DNA center.

So we do segment the network. Most of the devices we actually, so everything that's connected to it is usually a Meraki device. So fortunately with guest wifi and things like that, we actually use the Meraki interface, the Meraki Cloud interface to control all of that stuff. The switch is just our conduit for power and all those devices. Really we just need something to stay alive and give us that connection to the piece of fiber or to a five G device that we can then get the data back to the data center or directly to the internet whichever way we decide to do it. We do segment our IOT devices and all the wifi networks. And that's done at the switch. That's done at the switch level. And it's all done CLI, I'm still old school in that respect.
