We use these switches as a intermediary between a firewall and end devices. It solves the problem of multiple devices connecting to a central switch and allowing traffic through the firewall.

The size is compact and fits where we install these devices.
The CLI commands are quick and informative.

Cons

Software updates; not as informative on how to perform software updates. Could be more informative and explain on the switch.

Uptime and robustness; the device should not fail in most scenarios.

Return on Investment

Neutral; the device itself performs as intended and provides as a central point for traffic.

Network Management

We do not use Cisco DNA Center. We are able to manage it through Solarwinds.

Scalability

We do not utilize the additional feature of modular expansion of the device.
