You have a big and complex network, move to Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN and make your life easier!
Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN
We migrated from the legacy method of routing into SD-WAN, starting with Viptela then Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN. This helped our company to minimize the onboard of a new branch site and to simplify the day to day Network Engineer operations. Also, due the complexity of our network, integrating and standardizing new network would have been impossible without a solution like Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN.
Pros
- Branch deployments (Zero-touch provisioning)
- Software upgrades
- Troubleshooting
Cons
- Dashboards to alerts about potential impacts
- For companies with presence in China, have alternatives due great China Firewall
- Integrate manage with vAnalytics... to have a single point of access for both
- Reduce the overload of network engineer to troubleshoot issues by having a over complex network.
- The integration of existing sites into SD-WAN made very easy to standardizes each location.
- As mentioned before, IOS migrations took weeks even months across different regions, now is just one click away and all sites globally are migrated.
When we analyzed Meraki it was clear for us, that our company complexity and need required another level of maturity that was not present for there but it was for Viptela SDWAN now Cisco SDWAN.
