Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Jasper
We use Cisco Jasper to manage thousands of cellular SIMs used in IOT electronic equipment. With Cisco Jasper we manage the registration and cancellation of new users as well as the complete control of the data network. With the use of automatic rules we can change the status of a subscriber depending on, for example, the amount of data consumed in the period.
- Manage the life states of a cellular SIM.

- Efficient management of the GPRS data quota assigned to each subscriber.
- Registration and cancellation of subscribers.
- Alerts for excess data.
- With the automatic rules, for example when blocking a subscriber who is abusing his GPRS data quota, we have avoided unnecessary expenses.
- Being a system that is accessed from the cloud allows us to manage our fleet of subscribers from any place and time, which was great in the confinements due to COVID 19.
- Although we have not currently implemented it, Cisco Jasper does have an integration API that we will explore in the near future.
In our country, the subscriber management platform is not eligible since each cell phone operator opts for a particular brand, that is, we have not had an option, although we have no complaints about the platform, we feel comfortable using it. I know of other management platforms used by other operators and they are really all very well designed, but we all know about CISCO's track record in the market, which adds additional value.
