Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki Dashboard

I use Cisco Meraki Dashboard to manage our GP estate switches. This allows us to easily manage our switches using a GUI interface.

Pros

  • Everything in one place
  • Clean GUI
  • Mostly easy to navigate

Cons

  • The checking of ports as on the main screen it shows ports but then when you jump on that actual port screen they are completely different.
  • The dashboard changed quite a lot on the last update which made it hard to navigate and figure things out. If there were more upgrades planned maybe a slower approach to changes. Slowly rolled out
  • Great ROI as it's easy to use you don't need a big team to manage.
  • Cisco Meraki Dashboard has helped us keep all of our GP's in one place.
Similar to the previous question but very easy to navigate the UI is new user friendly and you can pick it up very quickly. The different menus are all in places you would expect. I would recommend for users with limited CLI experience.

It is well suited for people with limited knowledge of CLI commands on Cisco switches. The GUI is easy to navigate and someone could pick it up quite quickly where to find everything. I think GP surgeries or places with small IT teams it would be best as Cisco Meraki Dashboard has everything in one place.
