Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Room Series
As an SMB, we have our headquarters and a couple of other locations at some distance, or maybe even in a different country, depending on the case. Because of this geographical distance, we have several key locations equipped with Cisco Room Series devices to improve our meetings and expedite our business agenda, not having to worry about call quality or user experience, since Cisco Room equipment does the job just right (and we still don't use the latest models).
- Improve sound quality, prioritizing voice
- Follow the speaker automatically
- Keeping our meetings safe
- It could be easier to have the availability of joining a meeting of a different platform
- USB Passthrough should be a default standard for any Room device
- UX is the greatest, but devices could be cheaper
- Every meeting held remotely using a Room Series device, is a travel expense not spended
- Room Series devices have a long lifespan, so amortization is assured
It's not the fairest stack up, since Logitech MeetUp or Rally are not autonomous devices but accessories to a computer or similar device. Besides, the user experience is not even close to any Cisco device.Logitech really becomes an alternative as a cheaper tool, particularly when teamed up with a Barco Clickshare or similar and you set up a "BYOD" meeting room, with fixed audio and video and using a laptop for the meeting and content sharing.
