Overall Satisfaction with Conga CLM

We use Conga CLM to provide transparency to contracts created both inside and outside of the system to anyone in our organization who has a need-to-know. We also are using the system to generate "highly repeatable" contracts using template automation functionality.

  • Smart Search inconsistent results
  • We are not happy at all with the limitations and inconsistent results associated with the Smart Search functionality, which was highly touted as a plus, and we've essentially hidden the tab in our system and steer our users away from it.
We do not use this functionality at the moment, but what we've seen demonstrated seems quite useful.
We are in the process of implementing our first template automation use case. Aside from that, we've only been using the agreement record creation functionality, with the amend/renew and other life-cycle functionality.

Flows/Wizards enable users to navigate a more intuitive workflow, providing more than help text and providing details directly in the system as opposed to having to refer to an external document, Conga Grid enables in-system updates and some excel functionality, Reporting features and filters are great, Clause Library provides an easy way to integrate clauses, logic, and alternatives for certain scenarios that help to minimize risk.
