Overall Satisfaction with Cube

I use Cube for all FP&A activities, like budgeting, forecasting, and reporting and it is a good tool. It allows plug and plays in Excel and Google Sheets which is also critical for an FP&A tool. The interface is extremely user-friendly and easy to manage.

Pros

  • Easy to move around dimensions
  • Can put notes behind uploaded budget numbers
  • Easy to input data and refresh your sheets
  • Easy to add new groups, accounts

Cons

  • There is no FX normalization
  • Duplicating scenario may take a while
  • If others are working on the tool you may need to wait before input your data
  • Reporting
  • Budgeting
  • Forecasting
  • Needed an FP&A tool, efficient and able to aumomate some processes
  • Allows to analyze by department and share this with each function owner

Cube is working very well in Google Sheets and this allows you to avoid manual work on updating and consolidating data.
