Overall Satisfaction with Cube Planning

Our company is a fast growing healthcare start up that is not ready for an ERP. ERPs are big, heavy, and costly to change. Start ups are continually growing and evolving, and because of that, I needed a system that was as nimble as our business. I demoed multiple competitors, and while many could have worked, I chose Cube Planning for a few key reasons:
- User interface. Cube is Excel and google sheets based, which is exactly what I wanted. Excel often gets a bad rap, but there is a reason why most finance professionals continue to use it. It is easy and versatile. I wanted to use Excel as my forecasting tool of choice.
- Further, Cube is basically maintained and operated by me. I don't need consultants to help with anything. I can maintain and update very easily. Even though I don't have integration with any QuickBooks yet, the flat file load is about a 5 minute task. Working with the Cube takes a little while to understand how to craft the data architecture, but my customer service rep has been there to help.
- Speed of implementation. 2 weeks. enough said.
- Cost. We are cost conscious and I like to lead by example. The price is transparent and affordable. Overall, highly recommended to anyone looking to increase speed and transparency in reporting and forecasting!
