Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

DraftSight is used in our organization to produce preliminary drawings by sales consultants which will then be handed to a design team that produces full 2D and 3D client proposals.

Pros

  • Easy to learn for untrained CAD users
  • Cost effective

Cons

  • Better online tutorials
  • Positive- as it allows a consultant to develop a concept in detail before submitting to our design team. Reduces the number of revisions and speeds up the process.
[DraftSight is] well suited for basic 2D layouts for untrained users.
