[DraftSight] allows customer drawings and designs to be opened.

  • Powerful options
  • Compact and lightweight software
  • Help should be free to all and not based on level of purchase
  • A true user manual that is offered, online or within the app
  • [A] yearly fee of 100-200 dollars [is] way better than [subscriptions] to other pieces of software monthly.

[N]o others offer what Draftsight does.
Well suited for 2D designs, today though manufacturing lives in the 3D realm; [I] get you need to charge more for 3D. [It] would be nice if all versions at least open and display 3D for review purposes - editing and such, would, obviously, still only [be] available in the 3D package.
