Overall Satisfaction with F5 Distributed Cloud WAF (Web Application Firewall)

We are using the F5 Distributed Cloud WAF to secure our applications against DDoS as well as BOT attacks primarily. We want to track the source of these attacks and the nature of their exploits in order to defend against them.

Pros

  • It provides some level of detail of the event
  • We can easily identify the user agent
  • We can easily block these attacks

Cons

  • A little more documentation on the usability of the GUI
  • Some more use cases so a customer can create run books for similar cases
  • Lower tco
  • Improved visibility
  • improved security posture
F5 Distributed Cloud WAF is more granular in nature than the Imperva cloud WAF. The interface is more user friendly.
