Use Cases and Deployment Scope

FloQast helps us manage the status of close, helps team members complete tasks consistently, and helps us by maintaining evidence of preparation and review. I use it to review the percentage of completion on the dashboard. It answers the question that I wonder, my managers ask me - What is the status of the close? What is still outstanding? Do you think we will be done by x date?

Alternatives Considered

Easier for users to understand because the reconciliations are Excel-based. I wasn't involved in the selection process for FloQast, but having used a few competitors (one software, one excel-based checklist) I would choose FloQast in a heartbeat. Plus, they have a fabulous customer success team who do fun events and also good training.

It's well suited for any accounting team - small, large, public, or private. I have used competitors before, and FloQast wins hands down. I prefer that the account reconciliations are prepared in Excel, which is a tool that all accountants are comfortable using. Some competitors require that you complete your reconciliations in the format of their tool (non-excel based), which can be tricky for some users.
