Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Frontline for tracking student grades, inputting student information, and managing student absence reports. Frontline is quite helpful to us because of its ability to house all the information in one central location. With Frontline, we are able to generate reports with certain student information fields as well as manage any student info that needs updating.

Pros and Cons

Student Reports.
Grade calculation.
Student information.

Speed (sometimes it is slow to load information).
Auto-save (it would be great to have information saved automatically because if I get distracted or if my browser freezes, I don't have to start from the beginning if I didn't get a chance to save).
Freezing (sometimes when running more detailed reports or trying to quickly enter grades, the program will freeze for minutes at a time, and I'll have to refresh).

Frontline has helped streamline the way we manage student registration.
We've had fewer user errors when using the Frontline software, likely because the UI is easy to navigate.
We've been able to more closely care for students, as we can track information about them as they move from grade level to grade level.

Frontline is perfect for managing student info, such as parental relationships, grades, IEPs, and other notes about each particular student. Frontline makes running reports quite easy, as you can group different info together for it to pull into a single report document. I wouldn't recommend Frontline for those wanting to do more detailed grading, or for those wanting to quickly enter information within a limited amount of time.
