Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I used Geckoboard to display information to the sales team tracking new product sales. It was being used by the marketing department for a certain product line. Geckoboard solved the problem of getting simple information to a vast sales force by just a click of a button.

Cons

Building the Geckoboard had limitations using MS Excel. It would be nice to have a cloud based platform to revise the display.
Needs to add more visualization graphs
Ability to add more pages to 1 Geckoboard like a website

Alternatives Considered

QlikView,TIBCO Spotfire

Geckoboard is a great dashboard that offers value and simplicity. It is easy to train and use right away. The other systems are more expensive but offer more details.

Likelihood to Renew

My company did not renew due to changes in the organization.

Likelihood to Recommend

The perfect scenario for Geckboard is a weekly/monthly dashboard that uses simple KPIs you need to display to a wide audience. This is not to use for a specific drill down.
