Overall Satisfaction with Globalscape Enhanced File Transfer (EFT)

My organization transmits many files with many vendors/software applications. Globalscape EFT is configured by the IT department but is utilized throughout the organization. Globalscape EFT is able to call PowerShell scripts and run Advanced Workflows to create the types of files that are required to be imported into or exported from our various applications.

  • Ability to call PowerShell scripts or Advanced Workflows to format the data in the files
  • Reliability of file transmission
  • Would like to see the ability for a rule in EFT to link the the Advanced Workflow that it is called (rather than having to manually locate the Advanced Workflow)
  • Would like the ability to disable just a part of an Event Rule
  • Would like to see more template creation functionality

Globalscape EFT is more intuitive and easier to create file transmission rules and troubleshoot than the other software applications we have used in the past or evaluated. Globalscape EFT has the ability to easily locate the status of file transmissions along with the ability to locate what any file transmission issue may be and easily resolve.

Globalscape EFT is well suited for file transmissions. It is very intuitive and easy to create file transmission rules. We transmit many files back and forth between vendors and software applications. File transmissions are fast and reliable. Globalscape allows us to specify certain file naming conventions, contain only certain data, format the data to be a specific way, etc.
