Overall Satisfaction with IBM Apptio

We use apptio for a variety of tasks when it comes to our day to day operations. One of the business problems we have had in the past was an efficient method of extracting cross charge data for various teams across the bank departments. By using the TBM studio, we are able to view this information in an organized table and extract for graph/report generation.

We have many teams at the bank. We use data ingestion and modeling to help divide the area of finops under capital markets, tech and operations, personal and business banking aswell as canada and america. we then dive deeper by looking at our internal budget and how its divided through software, hardware and cloud costs.
The apptio post sales support teams are amazing. As mentioned for a pervious answer, they host incredible events and book monthly appointments to check in on our team and answer any questions we may have. Having a post sales support team is vital as it gives the customer a sense of support after buying the product as opposed to being left in the dark.

I think it would be the use of more tools in our arsenal towards data modelling and extraction.
I am not on the cloud team, but I believe they enjoy the aws integration with cloudability

From my experience, Apptio is a vital component that banks have become accustomed towards using when it comes to anything finops related. Additionally, when the apptio sales teams come into the office or host networking social events, my team really values the opportunity to speak about the product and learn what new tools are being released.
