Overall Satisfaction with IBM Apptio

Cost Transparency. Cost Recoveries / journal entry prep. Monthly labor reports. Monthly portfolio reports. Benchmarking data for Gartner study.

Pros

  • Can easily model any set of data - especially large data sets
  • Easy reporting
  • Automates processes

Cons

  • Processing time
  • Upgrading old R9 code to R12 to automatically get rid of Keys and use the new functions
  • Validate data
Some of the logic is hard to learn
  • Builds a good relationship between Financde and IT.
  • Makes IT and the user orgs more accountable for their spend
We use the API from ADL
The team always goes above and beyond. I've been a customer since 2012 and can only say good things.
