Overall Satisfaction with Zelta

MD-CLINICAL is medical device research organization and we organize clinical trials around the world. Zelta is our first choice database to collect clinical data. The study database is designed and built by us and used by our team and study team in the clinical trial sites.

Pros

  • Zelta has a great number of options/modules and can be adapted to any kind of clinical trial.
  • Zelta is user friendly.
  • The support team is always ready to help and support and give useful tips.

Cons

  • Zelta should think about spreading their data center also in other places than just in US. That would be handy due to GDPR to have it e.g. in Europe, or in Asia.
  • From my point of view, the Zelta prices are fine, but for start-up companies the Zelta is unreachable due to price. Other solutions need to be offered to them.
  • The correctness of data entry - With Zelta, unlimited edit checks the data entered by clinic/hospital staff are very accurate.
  • Effective monitoring and data cleaning - the database set up save a lot of work for in monitoring and data cleaning process.
Zelta is a fast database, doesn't cause waiting during the data entry or when saving the data. This is mostly appreciated by the site staff as they have limited time and any delay is crucial for them. Zelta has an unlimited option for edit checks that helps collect accurate data. Zelta is user friendly
We would like to use the database for all clinical trials that we organize, but that is not always possible due to the sponsor decision. The sponsors very often see only the price and not the quality of the Zelta.

Zelta by Merative is well suited for any clinical trial as mentioned. Only where we can not use it is for some start up companies where the budget is very limited.
