Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cloud Object Storage

IBM Cloud Object Storage is being used within a department, primarily by a core team with some extensions to members of other teams. It addresses the ability to back up our data in an easily accessible and scalable way that is more straightforward to deploy than some internal IT solutions.

  • Easy to deploy and configure
  • Easy to scale with our storage needs

  • Interface can be easier to use
  • Sometimes it can be difficult to find the functions that are needed
  • Collaboration and sharing can be made simpler
  • Increased scalability
  • Decreased time needed to set up resources internally
I am currently using IBM Cloud Object Storage to store and retrieve data on my main projects. It has also been useful for maintaining files within the broader team as well. The ability to integrate ML using IBM Watson is a nice feature that will hopefully be leveraged in the future.
