Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cloudability

We use IBM Apptio CSA to manage Manage CRI portfolio for entire org

Pros

  • decrease risk
  • provide flexibility
  • provide savings insight

Cons

  • better dashboarding
  • monthly savings due to CRI
  • visibility into cloud savings from all savings products
CSA takes a little bit getting used to and is not the most intuitive. I do wish there were more information on what each statistic is like they have in CLDY.

We only use CSA and demoed CLDY. Unfortunately due to a change in strategy and insufficient ROI we did not purchase CLDY
significantly better in all regards

any situation where a company has a mixture of SP/CRI. CSA allows you to build a portfolio of and decrease risk while increasing RI commitment flexibility in the future.
