We use IBM Cloudability to analyze and reduce our cloud spend. It allows us to look at a single view for multi cloud data. It helps identify areas that can be rightsized and provides the detailed information required to take action.

Cons

Some data points are not retained so trend reporting has to be done in another Apptio tool
The Apptio BI integration needs work
The containers have to be manually identified to be included in the reporting

Usability

The product answers almost all of our questions and provides immediate insight for all of the users. Budgeting and forecasting are key to the reporting and allow users to see immediate variances.

Providing savings plan recommendations and reserved instance recommendations. The ability to create multiple views and assign to users allows for easy access to product specific reporting. IBM Cloudablility also provides great insight to saving generated by the team over time. We are able to provide management with detailed reports that highlight the benefit of the tool.
