Overall Satisfaction with IBM FlashSystem

The webserver needs to be improved. Mobile app access for monitoring purposes. Mapping of volumes to host should be more transparent. Volumes clubbed together to form Volume groups at OS level, if this can be seen in [the] web browser interface would be a great feature. Enforce users to have secured second-factor authentication.

  • Visualize total storage consumption on bar graph.
  • Login screen is very friendly.
  • Diagnostics available.

Cons

  • Multi factor authentication.
  • Volume to VG at OS mapping.
  • More roles for users.
  • Overall business objectives are not directly proportional to hardware cost.
It was preferred by our IT implementation partner
It makes things easy for new systems storage creation.
