Overall Satisfaction with IBM Guardium

We use it to monitor files and also use it to monitor database transactions.

Pros

  • The record protection is what it does. Well, protecting behavioral on the database.

Cons

  • It's very hard to implement.
  • I would say it's positive because it was able to detect multiple incentive potential data exfiltration already.
Just the ability to listen to the live SQL queries coming in and data stream
Just be able to detect anomalies within the traffic.

So well suited for SQL transactions. Be able to monitor the queries coming in and the kind of the data going out. Be able to see data exfiltration potentially.
