Overall Satisfaction with IBM Instana

Just monitoring performance metrics, being able to provide us those performance insights

Pros

  • Well, it does application detection very well.

Cons

  • So network monitoring, it does not do so well.
  • Good. Being able to detect issues before it happens or before it becomes a major issue.
Application detection.
Well again, it comes back to the application monitor. It does a better job than SolarWinds.

Closed application metrics, it does very well with application monitoring. Con is network monitoring. It doesn't do so well with network device monitoring.
