Overall Satisfaction with IBM SevOne

IBM Sevone is one of the most advanced platforms that helps us understand our networks and challenges related to them better. It also tracks devices, such as routers and switches, that are involved in the server infrastructure of our website. The software helps us in understanding whether there is any issue in the network.

Pros

  • Real time network monitoring.
  • All the errors can be easily controlled through one dashboard.
  • Make the work of our IT team much easier.

Cons

  • The software is very expensive and compatible will different APIs at all.
  • Requires detailed training, which will take more than 30 days before anyone can begin working on it.
  • Software integration with third party applications are also limited.
  • The software has minimal downtime, which helps us connect with our customers quickly and resolve their issues.
  • Automated networks reports that it gives saves a lot of time and resources.
  • Setting up and completing the configuration will take more than three months, which is a significant expense at the outset.

The software is handy and really helps us track all the issues that may occur in our network, allowing us to rectify them before any significant problems with our server can arise. It also enhances the overall performance of all our servers and networks, but, as I mentioned earlier, it will take considerable time for a beginner to become familiar with every feature of the software.
