We have a few clients that are running cobol 4.2 and needs to migrate to cobol 6 on many complex codes that they don't have documentation we use IBM watsonx Code Assistant Portfolio to helps them to get what they code makes

Pros

  • get the relations between the codes

Cons

  • I think that the interface is a beet hard to use
  • improve compliance
provide the mapping of the interaction of a set of programs
we can do it, but it will took us may time
