Overall Satisfaction with IBM watsonx Code Assistant Portfolio
I have tried watsonx for a minimal time but i understand that it would help in developer productivity with code gen and maintaining the code. I personally expect the auto completion of code (IDE does to some extent) but could help in prompting the possible logic that would make the code meaningful. I haven't tried writing unit test with this may be worth trying that sometime soon. Code quality is one of the main aspect which would be worth experimenting with this code assistant.
Pros

- Good for IBM modernisation works
Cons
- Suggesting human inputs before concluding
- Might be trailing little bit behind the other competetitors
- Specific use for IBM centric, could be more generic..
- Ease of use appealing when started
- Time can be saved.
- Indepth training on the IBM related application / products
As mentioned code completion, Enterprise IBM proprietary grade security, could see that it could help beginners and students and see this can be customised as and when we progress.
Not sure, as i have tried to do this just once.
Basically, i am trying to evaluate the AI's and got chance to use this IBM watsonx. Looks promising but will need more time to evaulate and understand more on their capability.
