Overall Satisfaction with Kira Systems

We are currently using it for due diligence exercises across the firm. It allows us to speed up the review, and assists with the accuracy of our review. We also use it for internal validation exercises and determine trends in the market. Finally, we use it to help search across certain decisions from quasi-judicial bodies to determine trends in decision making.
  • User friendly
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Easy to manage projects
  • Excellent search capabilities
  • More options for exporting results.
  • Integration with document automation platforms.
  • Separate client only view.
  • More efficient reviews.
  • Increased comfort in use of technology.
  • Marketing
  • Some level of disappointment due to “AI."
  • Limitations in export options is an annoyance at times but nothing insurmountable.
  • Better understanding of use machine learning tech in practice.
Practice consultants are excellent. My practice consultant is always available, listens to concerns, and provides practical advice and guidance. He is also comfortable to say if something is not possible or the functionality is coming, whereas other vendors have led me down rabbit holes. That level of honesty provides an extra level of comfort when selling the software and process internally. In my practice consultant, I have a colleague rather than a vendor, and that is a very important distinction to me. Kira support desk is excellent. Quick responses and helpful follow ups.
Simple, easy to use software. It is clear time has been spent on the UI, and while improvements can always be made, the current UI means my time spent training colleagues is minimal.
  • HighQ
It was easy to connect but a little more difficult to export to, as we do not have HighQs AI hub.
I believe the version of RAVN is Extract rather than Insight. In this regard, Kira stacked up well. UI is much better, and the support and expertise seem to be of a much higher level. Kira seems to be more mature as a product and company in this area. Luminance seems to provide a similar level of accuracy and functionally through different means. The cost is higher with Luminance, however, but with no knock on conceivable benefit.

Yes

Red flag DD reporting is an obvious example of where Kira works well. You require a defined set of red flags, and reviewers must be comfortable differentiating between true red flags and ambers based on Kira results, but this process can be effectively streamlined and lends itself well to the out of the box trained Kira concepts. Kira is less helpful in niche, practice/market specific scenarios, where out of the box concepts do not exist and training is required. While the training can be performed, it doesn’t allow for the practice to immediately avail of Kira’s best quality.
