Overall Satisfaction with Linode
To host websites for our clients. It is used for database-driven websites (rather than 'serverless'), which make up about 25% of our customer base. Linode allows us to cost-effectively and easily run servers where needed.
- Notifications
- Upgrading servers
- Straightforward interface
- Server-side analytics with URL requests, unique visitors, geographic location, pages requested but not found, etc. would be amazing.
- A solid base to host our websites.
- Good profit margins.
Digital Ocean, Bytemark. Digital Ocean compare pretty favourably, but I trust Linode's business model and infrastructure more as they seem to have scaled more organically as a company.
A great platform at a low price. The introduction of the Nanode plans was perfect for some of the websites I host.
Not too important to be too close to 100% as nothing is absolutely business-critical for any of my clients, but it's good to have something super reliable, of course!
