Overall Satisfaction with Liquibase
Liquibase is being used in InternationalSOS for database deployment (PostgreSQL, Redshift). We are extremely pleased with Liquibase; however, its support can be improved. We would like to extend the Liquibase tool to support other databases, such as No SQL and Elastic Search.
Pros
- Deployments and ease of use.
- Easy integrated with our applications.
Cons
- Additional support for No SQL and Elastic Search.
- Made the deployment easier. Positive impact.
- Negative impact is more support of more databases.
As of now, DB administration is benefiting from easier deployment. They still need to use Liquibase for data migrations, which are still in progress.
