easy to pick up
software architecture planning

my new main use case is collaboration with AI LLM to model system designs. unfortunately I have not found Lucidchart to be useful at this
  • library of shapes, etc
  • ease of use
  • reliability
  • ai model construction and rendering
  • integration with Google drive is a little flaky
  • automation language not available
  • cheaper than Visio
  • effective communication pays off
I haven't reliability problems a couple of years ago and had a difficult time straightening it out. I had to abandon Lucidchart for a while. when I came back to it it worked much better
