Overall Satisfaction with M1

We are a manufacturing company; I am in the accounting department. We are having trouble with the Avalara integration. Hopefully, the new APIs will make it easier.

Pros

  • Bank Recs.
  • Detailed reports can be run fairly easily.

Cons

  • Receipt Posting is not always the correct account.
  • Calculating Use tax.
  • Simplifies Bank reconciliations.
No one has been able to pick it up and use it immediately. It takes people in our company months of training to learn the basics.

I believe M1 is good on the manufacturing side, but our sales and management side has some struggles.
