Overall Satisfaction with Marketo

Marketo is used by marketing to execute campaigns and do lead scoring. Sales uses it a bit. It is our outbound marketing tool. It's also linked with the website and knows when visitors return, etc.
  • Executes campaigns and provides a quick way to close previous campaigns.
  • Reporting.
  • Lead scoring.
  • Linking with CRMs other than SFDC are a real problem.
  • The way things are laid out can be very confusing.
  • Marketo sales people are not that great. Just sayin'.
I didn't select it, but I would have. It's the industry leader.
I guess if you do a certain kind of campaign. This company just started using it for real when I got here. I would ask about the integration with your CRM. It's critical and not all is created equal.

Using Marketo

  • It's made it much easier to execute campaigns.
  • Don't know how they did it before.
  • Lead scoring is the bomb.... the greatest thing to ever hit B2B marketing.
