Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We're predominantly using it for the banking customers to identify any other vulnerabilities in their infrastructure. We used to scan and they'll see any other gaps in their workloads based on that. It also give you the remediation, how this can be fixed. That's where you're using it.

Pros and Cons

Pros

See this defender predominantly used in our workloads, especially on the banking sector, they used to scan the environment and provide the reports to the audit team to make sure that their workloads are virus free or error free.

Cons

One thing we wanted to understand in the compliance perspective, especially this product as a globally compliant, but however, there are some region specific like Middle East, they want to comply with their own compliance perspective, so probably those models can be incorporated, be useful.

Return on Investment

It's really positive for us because there's a single product that sets for all, it fits for their requirement and on top of it, it's a Microsoft shop, so it's easy for us to take it up to the customer environment.

Threat Reduction

We use the Defender cloud, especially for vulnerability and threat management side. The dashboard clearly shows what are the threats are there and also it's look at in the industry side, these all the threats that can be remediated quickly, so that's why the tools differ with others.

Infrastructure Savings

Definitely yes. The cost wise, as speaking, we are witness of many tools in the space, but Assure gives very good cost comparison on top of it via the enterprise license, so it'll be easy for us to take it up with a one.

We used to do the scanning for on a basis. Sometimes we need to run it based on the scenario or the requirement from the global audit team. Based on that it'll be quickly, you can tweak it or customize it and then get the report as well. So the reports are really good based on your customization, the time interval, how you want it to see.
