Overall Satisfaction with mRemoteNG

I use mRemote to access all of my network switches, servers and other devices. It is a one-stop shop to remotely access pretty much anything that has a management interface. This product lends itself really well to being flexible and having multiple tabs open at one time. I find this software keeps everything in one interface, so I don't forget about all of the devices I'm managing.

Pros

  • Windows Remote Desktop
  • Putty Sessions
  • SSH Sessions
  • Mutli-Tab device management

Cons

  • Tabs are difficult to navigate sometimes
  • Mass changes of device properties
  • Importing large number of new devices
  • Streamlined management of devices so things do not get forgotten about, leading to increased results and productivity
  • Increased speed of installing updates on multiple servers at a time
Because it is easy to use once installing. The interface is very intuitive and there are help files available for anyone needing further set up assistance. For someone who is currently overwhelmed with managing too many things in too many places, mRemote simplifies this and puts the power back in the administrators hands with their intuitive interface.

mRemote is well suited if you need to manage multiple types of servers and/or network devices. Instead of opening a dedicated Putty session and having to manage all of the windows, mRemote can handle all of this with different tabs.

If you only have a few devices (less than 10), mRemote could be overwhelming for the need and not quite match up with what you are needing.
