Overall Satisfaction with Network for Good

Network for Good has been a game changer for us. Our development team uses it to keep track of donations, donors and contacts. It's so easy to develop a list of any kind for whatever we are working on! If we need the info of all $500+ donors over the past 3 years, it's there in less than a minute. Sending out thank you emails and letters is so simple. The graphs that show the donations by month are visually appealing and so helpful!
I don't know what we would do without it.
  • Donation records
  • Email newsletter design
  • Simple Thank You letters and emails
  • Easy reports
  • If it were a bit more affordable for nonprofits, that would be awesome! It's definitely worth what we pay, but some newer nonprofits might have trouble working that in a budget.
  • Donor Information
  • Monthly money tracking
  • Easily running reports for whatever you are looking for
  • It really pays for itself. We send out newsletters quarterly and use Network for Good's exporting feature to produce the address list. Sending it out to 1800 people and receiving an average of $5,000 in donations each time covers the cost of the program in one newsletter.

Yes

If you are a nonprofit that receives donations, this is a must-have. Keeping track of donors and donations is so simple this way! I'm sure there are many features we haven't even tapped into, and when we have more downtime, I look forward to checking them out. Oh! That reminds me, there are often free webinars that help nonprofits in a multitude of areas. And they are super helpful if you have a problem.

I guess if your budget doesn't allow it, maybe it would be better to wait a bit. Or if you have a very small number of donors that could be kept in a filing system, it might not be necessary.
