Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Data Visualization Cloud

We use Oracle Data Visualization Cloud service for our data warehouse visualization use cases. In our data warehouse, we use data generated by our front-end applications like Salesforce and back-office applications like Oracle ERP to perform data analysis and also visualization.
  • Big data
  • Relatively quick
  • Prebuilt joints
  • Current limit is 50 MB for xlsx data import. Could increase that.
  • Glitches in xls import on data format that is relatively common
  • List visualization does not consistently work
  • Speed of visualization
  • Accommodation of various data sources

Do you think Oracle Analytics Cloud delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Oracle Analytics Cloud's feature set?

Yes

Did Oracle Analytics Cloud live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Oracle Analytics Cloud go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Oracle Analytics Cloud again?

Yes

In an enterprise where your suite of products is heavily Oracle based, the product would work well because of pre-built connectors and data consistencies. For a company where you have a mish-mash of various applications, the effort spent to connect your data and build various custom integrations may not yield the results you seek.
