Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Eloqua

Areas/departments are currently migrating their information communication (e.g. newsletters, news/events promotion) off of other third party solutions. Eloqua was chosen to help centralize all newsletters in order to easily manage CASL requests.
  • Working with a centralized database allows control over who can access what contacts.
  • By adding tracking code to your web site, you can easily send targeted messages to specific web site visitors.
  • The system is not intuitive, however, that's to be expected when working with a enterprise level tool vs. a consumer product.
  • Help documentation/videos were not really helpful, but recently these are being updated to address some of the confusion experienced by new users.
  • Using the newly created templates, our Alumni area has seen an increase in open rates.
Creating email/campaign templates and allowing access based on members of a groups is an extremely important part of the tool. The ability to merge information captured in the database with your messaging is an important part of personalization, which Eloqua can easily do.
