Overall Satisfaction with Oracle VM VirtualBox

I used Oracle VM VirtualBox to create virtual machines for creating test environments and fully utilizing machines with lots of resources (large amounts of RAM and multi-CPUs).
  • Easy install
  • Intuitive controls
  • Cross platform
  • GUI seems to be dated (more so the Linux application)
  • Used more for convenience, however, VirtualBox saves time in installing several configurations on a single server.
  • VMWare
Oracle VM VirtualBox is well suited for quick creation of VMs, especially for those who are new to virtual machines (VM).
