Parallels Desktop for Mac Pro Edition

Overall Satisfaction with Parallels Desktop

I love my Mac, but there are a few programs where a PC is a must. A friend told me about Parallels Desktop and I am so thankful that he did! For mere pocket change I have a PC on my Mac and WAY BETTER than the old Boot Camp. It requires next to no setup or configuration. A few clicks and I have a PC to use when I need it and it is not even high overhead.
  • Toad for SQL
  • Microsoft Access
  • Generally playing nice with my iMac.
  • Windows 10 is awesome but 11 seems a bit off.
  • It really is awesome all the way around!
  • ROI was instant as Parallels Desktop is less than Mac's terminal program.
  • ROI was instant again as Toad was not available on Mac at the time.
  • MS Access is PC only and I did not have to buy a PC so...

iMac beats PC so use it only where you must. Access and Toad are the big ones for me and they absolutely make it all worthwhile.
