Overall Satisfaction with Planview AgilePlace
Our Organization is currently using AgilePlace to track team deliverables for each team. Ability to customize swim lanes has given different teams the flexibility to use AgilePlace to be used across different verticals like IT Operations, SAFe, Software Development, Strategy & Execution and much more.
AgilePlace has certainly made the Agile ways of working easier with better visibility of backlogs, approved work, work in progress, etc. On top of that, creating parent child relationships across different boards, makes it a great tool to work with orchestrate layers of work.

Pros
- Card Scoring mechanism based on Weighted Shortest Job First (WSJF)
- Parent child relationships across different boards
- Ability to connect to tools like JIRA and Planview Portfolios
Cons
- All and all there is little to no scope for improvement because Planview's Product Owner of the tool is doing all that's needed to keep the tool up to date with continuous improvement.
- Effective and efficient use of resources
- Huge impact on backlog tracking and agile ways of working
AgilePlace is better than JIRA when it comes to ease of use and intuitiveness of the tool. Card based model and ability to customize/tailor the way you want makes AgilePlace is a great tool. Look and feel as well as colored cards, makes the board layout much more easier to understand and see where your Projects & Programs sit today.
