Overall Satisfaction with Portainer

I have been using Portainer for managing my personal Docker containers and I must say, it has been an absolute game-changer. As someone who frequently works with Docker, Portainer has streamlined my workflow and provided me with a user-friendly interface to effortlessly manage my containers. I have since started recommending it to customers that are dabbling with Docker.
  • Simplifies entering the world of containers.
  • Provides a comprehensive view of all components.
  • Container management and available options are immediately visible.
  • Error messages are hard to decipher and sometimes provide little insight as to what is really going on.
  • Networking options could be made a bit clearer.
  • GUI
  • RBAC
  • Docker Swarm and Kubernetes support
  • Ease of use
  • It has helped my customers move to containers with confidence and comfort.
  • It has provided performance and resource management insights.
  • It has helped accelerate adoption of containers
Portainer is by far the friendliest, easiest to deploy, use, and maintain of these platforms.

When one is new to the Docker, Portainer can be a game changer. Starting with containers is overwhelming in and of itself. Going from Proxmox, to KVM, to Docker is daunting and nothing but the basic concepts translates between platforms. Using Portainer places the options in context and helps minimize mistakes.
