Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Solopreneur
- Customer support / Help desk
No, I've had an open problem, where Intuit shows a paid transaction on my account, but won't link it to their invoice, which was used to pay the transaction. They do not have any updates, and I've spent about 4 hours on the phone so far - I've called 3 times. They've given me 3 different confirmation numbers for each time I've called, and once told me it would be a couple of weeks before resolution and that someone would call me back within 2 days to give me an update, which no one ever did. Then, the last time, I asked to speak with a supervisor, and I was never able to be transferred to them after waiting on hold for 30 minutes or more. The rep told me that they are waiting on their systems engineers to fix the problem, but apparently, this service is at the bottom of their list of things to do. I used to be on the Self-Employed service, but they kept raising the subscription fee on me every 4-5 months, and I was never able to see the things I actually wanted to see, so I figured this was worth a try.
Pros
- slightly easier to see how much income I have had in the month than with the Self-Employed subscription.
- Cheaper
Cons
- Resolving their technical glitches
- Customer service follow-through
- Making it easy to see your income
- Having work-arounds when they have technical glitches - for example, just allow me to mark the transaction as paid if you can't link it to the transaction.
It was recommended to me by a tax provider.
