Migration from MAS90 to Sage 100 ERP
Overall Satisfaction with Sage 100 ERP
Our client used MAS90 and migrated to Sage 100 ERP three years ago. It is used by the bookkeeper to maintain the books of the organization. We review the general ledger, calculate depreciation expense, book receivables, payables, accruals, prepared schedules for annual audit, and prepared draft financial statements with footnotes. Sage 100 ERP is easy to use. The help feature provides assistance. Reports can be exported to PDF or CSV for use in Excel. Sage 100 ERP is user friendly.
Pros
- Financial system can be viewed in detail and summary, on screen, exported or printed.
- System can handled multiple bank accounts.
- System can handle multiple companies.
Cons
- There are multiple steps with Sage 100 ERP in which MAS90 had fewer steps. This was one of the findings when bookkeeper had to adapt to changes with the new system.
- Data conversion went swiftly from MAS 90 to Sage 100 ERP.
- Bookkeeper was able to learn and used Sage 100 ERP.
I have used Blackbaud and MIP. Blackbaud is excellent for private schools and universities due to their tuition module. MIP is a strong nonprofit software product. Sage 100 ERP meets the organization's needs and made the transition less costly.
