Overall Satisfaction with Salesforce Lightning Platform (formerly Salesforce App Cloud)
We converted over to the Salesforce Lightning Platform from the standard cloud over the past few years- and appreciated many of the changes it brings with it. It's not across the entire organization just yet, but it does help in streamlining the Salesforce experience and make integration a little bit easier.
Pros
- Ease of use.
- Clean interface.
- Good integration and sandbox.
Cons
- Interface can be TOO simple at times.
- Some previously available options are hard to find.
- Specific workflows can be challenging to create.
- With properly defined workflows system runs quickly and efficiently.
- Ticketing is quicker- leading to faster case resolution times.
- Good metrics for tracking sales/support.
We have always been a Salesforce shop, but have grown with the App Cloud platform as it's evolved. We eventually moved to lightning based on the streamlined interface and increased ease of use for our employees. So far we are happy with the results. Would definitely recommend it to others looking for a similar platform.
